Window tint, answered.

Everything Yuma drivers and homeowners ask us most — tint law, film types, care, and more.

Arizona law (ARS §28-959.01) requires front side windows to let more than 33% of light through. Back side windows and the rear window can be any darkness, and the windshield allows only non-reflective tint above the AS-1 line. We keep every install legal and meter the glass after the film goes on.

No darker than 33% VLT on the front side windows — that's the legal minimum amount of light that has to pass through. We can go darker on the rear glass. A medical exemption can allow darker front tint with a doctor's documentation.

Dyed film is the budget option that darkens glass and cuts glare. Carbon sits in the middle. Ceramic costs more but rejects far more heat and infrared without being any darker — a ceramic film at 35% can reject more heat than a cheap dyed film at 5%. For Yuma summers, ceramic is usually worth it.

No — and that's one of the things that sets us apart. We do residential and commercial window film alongside auto tint, plus headlight restoration, detailing, and glass repair.

Most vehicles are finished the same day. The exact time depends on the vehicle and number of windows; we'll give you a timeframe when you book.

Wait a few days before rolling windows down or cleaning them so the film can fully cure, then use a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner. We'll give you the full care rundown at pickup.

Yes. Quality film rejects a large share of solar heat and blocks about 99% of UV, so your cabin heats up less and your AC doesn't have to work as hard.

It depends on the size, depth, and location of the damage. Small chips can often be repaired before they spread; larger cracks or damage in the driver's sightline usually mean replacement. Send a photo or bring it by and we'll tell you straight.
